Welcome to the Mason Center for Conservation Studies (MCCS) website. MCCS is an interdepartmental unit that supports interdisciplinary programs in conservation research and education. In collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution National Zoo's Conservation and Research Center and the Center for Conservation Education and Sustainability, George Mason offers the Smithsonian-Mason Semester for undergraduates and a number of graduate and professional training courses.
